R2006-1 Postal Rate Charts Showing Comparison of Current and Proposed Rates

User Warning!! "In many instances, the USPS has proposed new rate categories that do not exist in today’s rate structure, so apples-to-apples comparisons are impossible.  In some of those cases, PostCom on its comparison rate charts has used the current rate cell which pieces for the new rate cell would most logically migrate from.   These cells are in italics.   THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOUR RATES WILL BE IMPACTED AS SHOWN.  Only if your current rate is the one used in our calculation will your rate impact be as shown. For example, in the Standard Mail letters/flats chart, since there currently are no rate categories for Nonmachinable Mixed-ADC or ADC, we have done the comparison using the current Standard Mail Basic Presort nonautomation rates, etc. Please keep this in mind when using the PostCom comparison charts.
